The Lyakulka website presents a project that combines literature and modern technology.
Readers will be able to take a fresh look at the world of books and games, immersing themselves in reading while actively participating in interactive storytelling.
The first book of the project is already available on the website.
‘Mary's Day’ is an interactive maze book about a girl who, by a twist of fate, becomes familiar to two strangers. The plot progresses according to the reader's choices and includes dynamic illustrations, videos, hidden pages, dead ends, and hints.
The second maze book is currently in development. It will be based on Laura Yakulka's story ‘Lolo's world’ about a boy's adventures at a New Year's tree. It is scheduled for release in early November 2025.
To expand this project and create a community around it, a forum called ‘Kulkabook’ will be launched on the website. Here, readers will be able to communicate, share their impressions of the books, discuss their favourite characters and share their creative ideas.
Participation in this community can stimulate interest in reading and the development of imagination, and for the author, it is an opportunity to receive support and inspiration.
