Welcome to the World of Laura Yakulka

Where Classic Literature Meets Interactive Magic.

My name is Laura, and I am a creator of interactive labyrinths, a storyteller, and a lifelong admirer of Jane Austen.Exactly 200 years separate my birth from Jane’s, but her world of wit, resilience, and inner freedom has always been my "golden key." After a long journey through different cultures and challenges, I found my true home here, in the heart of the United Kingdom — the very landscape that inspired the stories I love.

What is Laura Yakulka?

In my native language, "Yakulka" (Я-кулька) means "I am a Christmas bauble." It’s a tribute to that childhood magic of sitting under a festive tree, spinning stories out of light and glass. On this site, I transform classic masterpieces and my own tales into Interactive Labyrinths:

  • Jane Austen’s World: Explore Northanger Abbey and Pride and Prejudice like never before. Find hidden golden guineas, unlock secret paintings by English masters, and discover the customs of the era through play.
  • The World of Lolo: Join the adventures of Edward, a boy turned into a Christmas toy, as he navigates the branches of a cosmic tree, guarded by the Fox and helped by a mysterious Cat.
  • Co-Creation: I believe stories are alive. Here, you can become a co-author, adding your own characters and branches to our growing digital multiverse.

Look Closer...

Keep an eye on the Fox — my silent guardian. She watches over these halls, ensuring that every secret finds its rightful owner.Whether you are here to rediscover Mr. Darcy or to lose yourself in a forest of Christmas ornaments, remember: every box can be opened if you have the right key.
